At Droop, your privacy is our core mission. We've built this platform with a "Privacy-First" engineering mindset. This policy explains how we protect your data while keeping you invisible to the world.

1. The Ghost Protocol

Droop is built on the principle of Ghost Mode. While you authenticate using your Google account to ensure platform security, your public identity is completely decoupled from your private data. No user will ever see who you are.

2. Information We Collect

Google Auth Data Email and UID are used strictly for authentication and to prevent spam. They are never displayed publicly.

3. "Fresh Persona" Technology

To prevent tracking and profiling, Droop implements Fresh Persona logic:

  • Every time you create a new post, the system assigns you a random, unique icon.
  • There is no public link between your different posts. You cannot be "followed" or traced across your activity history by other users.

4. AI Moderation & Third Parties

To maintain a safe environment without human prying, we use AI moderation services (including DeepSeek).

  • We only send the raw text of your post to the AI for safety checking.
  • No personal identifiers (like your name or email) are ever shared with these third-party AI services.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Your Choice: You have the right to delete your account at any time.
  • Instant Vanish: Upon account deletion, all associated data is purged from our primary databases. You truly become a ghost.

6. Cookies

Droop uses essential cookies only to maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or third-party profiling.

7. Changes to This Policy

As Droop evolves from Beta, we may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced via an in-app alert or our official Instagram.
